Publication: Journal of Vascular Access

The Vascular Access Society has signed the contract with the Journal of Vascular Access and from now this will be the official journal of our society. The Journal of Vascular Access is publishing on vascular access related issues since the past 8 years and since last year PubMed indexed on the web. With 4 issues each year it is a very interesting journal for the readership, in particular interested in access issues and dialysis.

VAS members will be invited for the editorial board and also an Editor-in-Chief will be elected from the VAS board with the main objective to raise the number of publications in the JVA and to increase the scientific value and citation index. Newsletters with subjects of interest for the members will be published on a regular basis and in addition the abstracts of the biannual congresses will appear in JVA.

JVA can be accessed on line (www.vascular-access.info) and papers can be downloaded either in PDF or HTML files. Also review of new manuscripts will be on-line processed. I invite all VAS members to submit their manuscript to the JVA. Together we can raise the scientific level of our new journal!
